剛翻 Ignite Realtime 時，同時也看到 David Smith 公佈 XIFF 3 Beta，XIFF 3 Beta 支援 ActionScript 3 與 Flex API，並做了 BOSH, VCard 等。如此一來透過 Flash 刻一個 IM Client 容易許多了阿。
